Exforge (Amlodipine 5 mg / Valsartan 160 mg)
Exforge tablets contain two substances called amlodipine (a calcium channel blocker) and valsartan (an angiotensin II receptor antagonist). Both of these substances help to control high blood pressure. This pack contains 28 film-coated tablets. Amlodipine prevents blood vessels from tightening, while valsartan prevents blood vessels from narrowing. By working together, they allow blood vessels to relax and lower blood pressure. It is indicated for the treatment of hypertension in patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by monotherapy.
