Coempaken is a combination medication containing Empagliflozin and Metformin HCl. Empagliflozin is an SGLT2 inhibitor that helps the kidneys get rid of glucose from your bloodstream. Metformin is a biguanide that lowers glucose production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity. This pack contains 28 tablets (4x7 Tablets). It is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Common side effects include urinary tract infections and gastrointestinal upset.
