Atorid-10 (Atorvastatin Tablets 10 mg)
Atorid-10 contains Atorvastatin, a synthetic lipid-lowering agent. It is a selective, competitive inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase, the rate-limiting enzyme that converts 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl-coenzyme A to mevalonate. This pack contains 30 tablets (3x10 Tablets). It is indicated as an adjunct to diet to reduce elevated total cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, apolipoprotein B, and triglycerides in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia and mixed dyslipidemia. It is also used for the primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular events.
